Structure, Working Principle and Advantage of Cylinder

Cylinder is a kind of metal parts, which is very common in industrial production activities. Its motion is linear reciprocating motion or swing and rotating motion, which is accomplished by guiding piston. Cylinders can convert the pressure energy of compressed air into mechanical energy, so they are widely used, such as semiconductors, automatic control, printing and robots.

Generally, the air cylinder actuator is composed of cylinder barrel, end cap, piston, piston rod and sealing parts.

2. Working Principle of Cylinder
The thrust and tension on the piston rod are determined according to the magnitude of the force required. Therefore, when choosing the air cylinder actuator, the output force of the cylinder should have a little margin. If the cylinder diameter is small, the output force is insufficient, the cylinder can not work properly; but if the cylinder diameter is too large, not only makes the equipment heavy, high cost, but also increases the gas consumption, resulting in energy waste. In fixture design, force amplifier should be used as far as possible to reduce the size of cylinder.


Adaptability and Electrical Control of Cylinder

In the process of using the air cylinder actuator, the requirement for its users is relatively low, and the cylinder is easy to install and maintain when operating, so the requirement for users is not high, so the cylinder is different, engineers must have certain electrical knowledge, otherwise it is very likely to be damaged by misoperation.

The output force of the China air cylinder actuator is large. The output force of the cylinder is proportional to the flattening of the cylinder diameter when it is operated. The output force of the cylinder head and the cylinder diameter, the power of the motor and the pitch of the screw rod increase with the increase of the cylinder diameter and power and the decrease of the pitch. A cylinder with a diameter of 50mm can theoretically output up to 2000N. For cylinders with the same diameter, although the products of different companies are different, they are basically not more than 1000N. Obviously, the cylinder has more advantages in output force.
