Standard cylinder is one of the most widely used cylinders, commonly used are SC series, DNC series, SU series, and domestic QGB series.

Standard cylinder diameters range from 32 mm to 320 mm. Cylinder stroke can reach 2000 mm. The front and rear end caps of standard cylinders have cushioning and adjusting functions, so that both ends of the cylinder piston can run smoothly without impact. Standard cylinder has a variety of cylinder mounting accessories to choose from, flexible and changeable.

How to measure cylinders?

1. If the air cylinder actuator is used before measurement, clean the cylinder first, handle it lightly and put it lightly.
2. Release the fastening screw of the micrometer, calibrate the zero position, and move the external measuring claw backwards, so that the distance between the two external measuring claws is slightly larger than the measured object.
3. When measuring, the unanimous hand first holds the ruler frame of the vernier caliper and places the object to be measured between two external measuring claws. The other hand pushes the active measuring ruler forward until the active measuring ruler contacts the measured object.
4. Reading. It should be noted that when measuring the size of the inner hole, the measuring claw should be measured in the direction of the diameter of the hole. When measuring the depth dimension, the depth ruler should be perpendicular to the bottom of the measured workpiece.

How to select material for each part of air cylinder actuator?

There are intake and exhaust ports on the cylinder end cap, and buffer mechanisms in some end caps. The end cap of the rod side is provided with a sealing ring and a dust-proof ring to prevent air leakage from the piston rod and dust mixing from the outside into the cylinder. A guide sleeve is arranged on the side cover of the rod to improve the guiding accuracy of the cylinder, bear a small amount of transverse load on the piston rod, reduce the downward bending of the piston rod when it extends, and prolong the service life of the China air cylinder actuator. The guide sleeve is usually made of sintered oil-bearing alloy and forward-inclined copper castings. In the past, malleable cast iron was commonly used for end caps. Now, in order to reduce weight and prevent rust, aluminum alloy die casting is often used. Brass material is used for micro cylinders.

The inner diameter of China air cylinder actuator represents the output force of cylinder. The piston should make smooth reciprocating sliding in the cylinder, and the surface roughness of the inner surface of the cylinder should reach Ra0.8um. Hard chromium should also be plated on the inner surface of steel tube cylinder to reduce friction and wear, and to prevent rust. Cylinder material is made of high strength aluminum alloy and brass in addition to high carbon steel pipe.

The cylinders are made of stainless steel tubes. Cylinders with magnetic switches or those used in corrosion-resistant environments should be made of stainless steel, aluminium alloy or brass. The combined cylinder generally refers to the gas-liquid damper cylinder and the gas-liquid booster cylinder formed by the combination of the cylinder and the hydraulic cylinder. As we all know, compressed air is usually used as the working medium of cylinder, which is characterized by fast action, but not easy to control the speed. When the load changes greatly, it is easy to crawl and walk on its own; the combined cylinder will avoid such a situation.
